Highlights of two early morning sessions featuring some regular faces from this spot. Long waits of up to 30 minutes and ice cold winds burdened an otherwise perfect forecast (I was wearing 3 jackets and still freezing). A few guys had the foresight to wear a hooded suit or booties in the water. Each time a set rose over the horizon it was stacked a dozen waves deep, the crowd would shift from a circle of mates bantering to a single file of anticipation as they eyed off their chance to get absolutely orbed and make it all worthwhile.
